Kristīne Rudzīte-Stejskala is a defence policy practitioner with more than 15 years national and international experience covering bilateral defence cooperation, NATO partnerships, as well as NATO defence resource policy and planning. She has worked in the US Embassy Riga, the Ministry of Defence and since 2010 works as the Representative of the Ministry of Defence of Latvia to NATO in Brussels. She holds MSc from London School of Economics in politics of the world economy and in political science from the University of Latvia. In the past years, she has provided several academic contributions on NATO partnerships, security and defence financing. Her research interests are the Baltic defence sector development, defence financing, transatlantic relations and burden sharing.
